When I´m Sixty Four

Na última semana o mais velho dos Beatles completou 64 anos. Todos logo lembram da música "When I´m Sixty Four", de Lennon/Mccartney gravada no sensacional Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, mas as coincidências param por aí.

O momento é de homenagear o mais tímido dos fab four, o que mais relutou a aceitar o fim dos shows ao vivo da banda, e o grande responsável por manter os demais no tempo certo das músicas durante quase toda a vida do grupo (na época não havia "ponto", ou "retorno", então George, John e Paul se guiavam no barulho da bateria para não se perder no meio da gritaria dos fãs...

Deixo como minha homenagem uma música que, apesar de não ser originalmente dos Beatles, é uma das minhas favoritas, e é cantada por ele:
